Six Points is a private, not for profit organization providing services to developmentally disabled adults in the Gunnison and Hinsdale Counties. Six Points is licensed by the Developmental Disabilities Services of the State of Colorado.

Our Mission

The mission of Six Points is to provide education, training, assistance and support to all developmentally disabled children, adults and their families in Gunnison and Hinsdale Counties, such that these individuals reach their highest functioning levels and become integrated into our society as independent, productive, contributing citizens. Further, our mission is to advocate for these individuals and increase the awareness of all residents concerning the special needs of the disabled in our community.

Adult Services are the “core” activity of the organization.

Three Programs are:

Residential ~  helping individuals reside in their homes in the community.

Day or Vocational ~ provide individuals with the opportunity to express their unique talents and interest through meaningful employment.
